A Cultural Exchange Session between the
Southern Finance College of Laos and Mekong University
On March 17, 2015, the delegation of the staff, faculty and students from the Southern Finance College of Laos paid a visit to Mekong University. The delegation was warmly welcomed by Dr. Nguyen Thanh Dung, ViceRector of Mekong University along with leaders of the faculties, offices and departments of Mekong University.
The visit of the delegation aims to help the staff, faculty and students from the Southern Finance College of Laos learn about Mekong University's training programs; majors; research and training quality; learning conditions and living environment of students. Consequently, Laos students will have more opportunities to select the learning environment for their future learning.
During the time being here (from March 17 to March 19, 2015), the staff, faculty and students from the two sides took part in music performances, campfire and Vietnamese folk games. Besides, the delegation visited historical relics, Vinh Long museum as well as leisure centers in order to learn more about the cultural features of the Mekong Delta in particular and Vietnam in general.
