The Faculty of Engineering Technology has trained nearly 2,000 engineers since its operation. In the future, the Faculty will strive for a leading position in the training of its specialization in the Mekong Delta. Its duties are to train and provide qualified professional engineers, meeting the requirements of building infrastructure, mechanization and electrification in the economic development in the Mekong Delta.

  •  Training majors: Electrical-Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Transportation Work Engineering, Civil engineering.
  •  Training level: Full-time undergraduate level (4 years - 8 semesters)

Electrical - Electronic Engineering

The training program is designed to train engineers in data transmission, electronic circuits, automation, micro processor, etc. who can design and handle issues relating to electronics and electricity.

Employment opportunities: Working at power plants, power transmission construction companies, radio and television stations, post & telecommunication companies, Science and Technology Department in charge of operating, maintaining and installing electric systems and automation systems; construction companies; and working under the labor cooperation programs in countries as Singapore, Japan, Korea, etc.

Mechanical Engineering

Training engineers in mechanical engineering, mechanical equipment engineering, dynamic mechanics, who can design, manage and monitor production line and take on software processing CNC (Computerized Numerical Control), design mechanical devices, and give advices on engineering.

Employment opportunities: Working at engineering offices, designing units, auto service stations, registration stations, research institutes, universities and colleges, vocational schools or working in foreign countries as the United States, Singapore, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, etc.

Transportation Work Engineering

Training engineers in Construction of Bridges and Roads to have skills of project planning, calculating for designing details, managing and monitoring transportation work construction.
